April 2009 in Review

I’m a slacker. I haven’t written any reviews of my April books (except TTW), I’ve just been reading too much to write! I will change that soon, I promise.

This month I pretty much only read 2 types of books: Time travel, I was craving them like whoa. And some of my favorite re-reads, I just had an aching sweet-tooth for them.

Unfortunately I didn’t like many of the time travels that much, EXCEPT Son of the Morning, which is now in my top 15 fave books of all time!

  1. The Song of the Lioness Quartet, Tamora Pierce A+++ re-read
  2. Born In Ice, Nora Roberts A re-read
  3. Son of the Morning, Linda Howard A-
  4. Living Dead in Dallas, Charlaine Harris B+ re-read
  5. Club Dead, Charlaine Harris B+ re-read
  6. Mr. Impossible, Loretta Chase B-
  7. Lieutenant Hornblower, by C.S. Forester B-
  8. Night Magic, Karen Robards B- re-read
  9. Knights, Linda Lael Miller C+
  10. Hundreds of Years to Reform a Rake, Laurie Brown C
  11. The Time Traveler’s Wife, Audrey Niffenegger C+
  12. Kiernan the Black, by Julia Templeton D
  13. The Wedding, Julia Garwood D

Now I’m off to read a few more of the Sookie Stackhouse books in preparation for the series’ newest release next week!
